Admins have the option to edit brokerage account details on behalf of users by navigating to "View Brokerage Accounts" under "My Company" on the admin dashboard.
All brokerage accounts will be listed alphabetically by user. There are 2 dropdowns where the brokerage accounts can be filtered by user or by brokerage. Across the top of the list, you will see the name of each column.
At the end of each brokerage account, there is an "Edit" button and dropdown arrow. "Edit" allows you to edit certain details of the account on behalf of the user, and the dropdown allows you to deactivate an account.
Choosing "Edit" will display the account details. Account Name and Account Type can be changed, and the Date Opened and Notes can be added. Any relevant documents, like managed account letters, can be uploaded to each brokerage by clicking the blue "Add File +" at the bottom of the account information. Date Opened, Notes, and Supporting Files are not required fields but are visible to the user as well as other admins.
The Account Number cannot be edited and is shaded in gray.
Click "Save" on the bottom of the page to save any changes made.
Admin users also have the ability to manually add a brokerage account for a user. To add an account, click on the "Add Brokerage Account" button that is located at the top right of the Brokerage Accounts page.
Choose the user you are adding an account for and add in the appropriate information for each field. Be sure to chose the Account Type to reflect if it is a third-party managed account or not. Click "Create" when finished. If all required fields have been added, the account will appear with the other saved brokerage accounts.
If any documents are added to a brokerage account, admins have the option to download and view those files. From the list of user brokerages, select "Download Files" next to Edit to download any attached files. If more than one file has been added, it will download all files that have been uploaded to that account.
Files can also be downloaded individually from the "Edit Account" page.
