Admin users will receive an email notification when a user submits a request via gVue. To review the request, click the link in the email or log into the Admin dashboard. All pending requests are displayed on the dashboard in both the blue "Pending Requests" box and the "Recent Requests" section. Select "View" to see the details of the request.
Choose from the options of status updates for the request and click the Update button. Users will be notified by email of any status updates to their requests.
Admin users can add a note to the request if more information is required. The user will receive an email when a note is added. You also have the ability to tag another admin user for review by type @ in front of their name. A note can be private or public by clicking the "Visible to User" checkbox. If the checkbox is not clicked, only the admin(s) can view the note. Clicking the "Send Email to User" checkbox will send an email notification of the note to the user.
Notes can be edited or deleted after they have been added. Click the pencil icon to edit the content of the note or change user visibility. Click the red trash icon to delete the note.
Relevant documentation can be added by clicking the "Add File+" link.
The Change Log is a log of all status updates for the request.
To edit details of the request on behalf of the user click "Edit Request" in the top left-hand corner of the request. Update details such as quantity, trade date, or currency then select "Update" to save changes.
As an admin user you also have the option to set a precleared window other than what is preset through the firm's compliance settings by choosing "Edit Request". For example, if the firm is set to have a precleared window of 1 day, as an admin you can set an individual trade request to have a precleared window of 7 days.
Security Requests can also be set to automatically deny or approve certain requests. To enable this feature, go to the Settings page and click on the Compliance tab.
You will see a few options at the bottom of the page you can choose to utilize. You can set requests to trade in equities, ETFs and mutual funds to be automatically denied or approved. Even when the auto approved feature is turned on- securities found on the restricted list will still be auto denied if users try to submit a request for them.
