If you do not have online access to your brokerage account or it's an unsupported brokerage, you can manually add the account to gVue. Please note that since there is no electronic data feed, you will have to upload statements or manually add holdings/transactions data.
From the dashboard, select the "Manage Brokerages" button.
Select the "Add Account" button on the right-hand side of the screen.
All of the fields are required, except for "Date Opened." Notes are only required if selecting "Other" for the account type.
To add a brokerage that's not listed, type in the name and select the "Add...." link.
The date that the account was opened can be entered as well as any notes to provide additional context about the account. Supporting files, such as a managed account letter, can be uploaded to the brokerage account by clicking the blue "Add File +" below the account details.
After all of the required fields are completed and account type is selected, click the "Create" button. The account will now display on the "Manage Brokerages" page. The manually added accounts will be blank in the "Last Connected" column since they are not electronically connected.
The list of brokerage accounts can be filtered by Active Status, Brokerage Name, and/or Account Type. The individual columns can be sorted by clicking the arrows next to the column name. To export the list of accounts, click the blue "Export" button.
Account details, other than Brokerage Name and Account Number, can be updated by clicking "Edit" next to the account.
To deactivate an account and remove it from your gVue profile, click the dropdown arrow under the "Actions" column next to the corresponding account and choose "Deactivate."
